Walter Ihor Kurylec

Walter Kurylec, a resident of Northeast Philadelphia, died suddenly on Thursday, May 3, 2018.  He was 53.

Born in Philadelphia, Walt was the son of the late Sofia (Nowosad) and Teodor Kurylec. 

He is survived by his sister, Dee 'Nadia' Waters and her husband Dennis; his brother, Zenon George Kurylec and his wife Iryna; and his nieces, Julia and Victoria Kurylec.  He is predeceased by his brother Jurij Kurylec and his sister Zina Kurylec.

His viewing will be held on Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:30 AM.  Requiem Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elkins Park, PA.
