Volodymyr Mykhaylyak

Volodymyr Mykhaylyak, a resident of Northeast Philadelphia, died on Saturday, January 29, 2022.  He was 73.

Born in Cherlyany, Ukraine, he was the son of the late Vasyl and Nella Dydushko Mykhaylyak.  He was an electrical engineer in airplane manufacturing in Ukraine.

He is survived by his wife, Mariya (Began) Mykhaylyak and his daughter Lana Tymchenko.

His family will greet friends on Wednesday at 6 PM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home.  Parastas Prayers will be sung at 7 PM.  His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church.  Requiem Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 AM.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
