Viktoriya Manasyan Obituary

Viktoriya Manasyan, a resident of Holland, PA, died suddenly on Saturday morning in Philadelphia.  She was 20.

Born in Dnipro, Ukraine, Viktoriya was the daughter of Tatyana Lazarenko and Vlad Manasyan.  The family left Ukraine and arrived in the United States in 2002.

She attended Loesch Elementary School in Philadelphia and Holland Middle School and was a 2016 graduate of Council Rock South High School.

While in high school, Viktoriya was a member of the student advisory board which appears before the Council Rock School Board several times a year to report on activities. She was assigned to report on activities at the Middle Bucks Institute for Technology where she took classes.

Shortly after graduation, Manasyan enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and made several trips back to visit CRSHS after she finished her basic training last year.

More recently, she enrolled as a part-time student at Bucks County Community College’s Newtown Township campus last fall, where she majored in criminal justice. She was a student in the current semester and she also served as a Bucks County Ambassador, leading campus tours as well as a member of the BCCC National Honor Society of Leadership and Success.

Viktoriya's wish was to pursue a career with the FBI and continue to serve her country.

She is survived by her parents and her sister, Vladyslava (Vlada).

Relatives and friends are invited to Viktoriya's viewing on Monday at 10 AM at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Avenue (at Bustleton Avenue).  Services will begin at 11 AM with Military Honors to be held during Services.  Burial will be private.
