It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ursula Dangovetsky Kirsch, 68, of Olyphant, PA, on July 14, 2025.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Ursula is survived by her spouse, Andrew Kirsch; daughters, Kimberly Hagan and Alexis Kirsch; son-in-law, Dennis Hagan; her beloved granddaughters, Everly, Emelia, and Ava; grandson, Easton; and siblings, Joseph Dangovetsky, Robert Dangovetsky, and Mary Paraschak. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Joseph Dangovetsky; brothers, Michael and Alexander Dangovetsky; and her “sis” and best friend, Julianne Trott.
Ursula had a heart of gold. She felt things beyond deeply and truly. She also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being laughed at just as much as she enjoyed being laughed with. She was known by her closest friends and relatives for her blunt personality as well as her complete lack of filter and her contagious laugh.
Ursula loved her grandchildren more than anything. They brought her so much joy in the last years of her life, and anyone who knew her knew that she was so proud of her two daughters who both grew up to become nurses.
Anyone who knew Ursula also knows that she spent years grieving the devastating losses of her siblings. It brings us an immense amount of peace to know that there has been a long awaited heavenly reunion and that she is finally at peace and free from any pain or sadness.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26, at 10:00 AM at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave., Phila., PA 19115. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist the family with funeral costs and the care of Ursula’s beloved cat, Mika (named after her late brother Michael), would be deeply appreciated. Donations may be made via Venmo to @Alexis-Kirsch-1 or Zelle to kirschalexis@gmail.com.
A continued celebration of Ursula's life will be held at the Boyle/Kirsch household following the service. All friends and family are welcome. Please reach out to the Kirsch family for the address as needed.
