Thresiamma Joseph Thodukayil was born on September 12th, 1937 to her late parents Mathai Vilangattuseril and Mariam Myalkarapuram. Thresiamma was the oldest daughter of her 8 siblings and grew up in Kannankara, Kerala, India. She was a strong pillar in the family and was a second mother figure to all her siblings. On November 14th, 1955, she married the late Thampi Thodukayil. Together, they had four children. They were able to settle and raise their children in Kaipuzha, Kerala.
Thresiamma was loved by many. She was known for her strength and selflessness. Thresiamma loved cooking and most importantly feeding others. She was always socializing and welcomed everyone into her home. She was known as “mummy” to all. Thresiamma was a God-fearing woman who showered us with endless love and prayers. Her love was immeasurable for her siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
On October 2nd 2025, Thresiamma was peacefully reunited with his Heavenly Father, her late husband; Thampi Thodukayil, and her two beloved sons; Philip (Shaji) and Mathew (Jiju). She will be missed dearly by all that knew her. Though our hearts are heavy, we give thanks for the legacy she leaves behind- rooted in love, strength, and unwavering faith. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come.
Thresiamma’s beloved children are (late) Shaji and Aney Thodukayil, Ponnu and Baby Parackel, (late) Jiju and Bindu Thodukayil, and Sephy and Biju Muprappallil. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren - Shanu, Jinu, Justin (Appu), Chrisey, Phiney, Neha, Jerome, Neema, Josh, and Nevin. She was also cherished by her great grandchildren - Eryx, Meghan, Alistair, Jackson, Benhur, Niam, Gabriel, Jordan, Jaylin, and Darius.
