Stephen Sendecki Obituary

STEPHEN SENDECKI, 81, of Huntingdon Valley passed away on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 after a difficult struggle with cancer.  He was the devoted husband of the late Nancy Sendecki and the dedicated son of the late Veronica and Tadensz Sendecki of Bridgeport.  His passing is mourned by his two beloved children, Natalie (Brian Fetterman) and Stephen Mark (Jocelyn Andrel), and two grandchildren (Logan and Arden).  He is also mourned by his sister Patricia Kleins (Jim Kleins), his sister-in-law Janet Hoffman, and nephews and niece.  


Stephen was a 1959 graduate of Bridgeport High School.  After high school, he served his country during the Vietnam war and was honorably discharged in 1965.  He worked as a machinist for O.P. Schuman & Sons until he retired.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as golfing, bowling and telling jokes.

Family and friends are invited to pay their last respects on Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at 9 am at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia followed by Divine Liturgy at 11 AM at the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1206 Valley Road, Melrose Park, PA.  Interment will be at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Cemetery in Elkins Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.
