Sasha Ann England

 It is with heart breaking sadness that we announce the passing of Sasha Ann England formerly Sasha Ann Wasilov on July 19, 2022.  Sasha was born at 11:55PM on December 31st 1980 bringing in a new year which influenced how she approached her life.  She was always searching for new things and individuals to celebrate.  She loved making new friends and was always the life of the party.  Sasha moved many times with her family that included living in both Japan and Hong Kong.  Along the way she made many new friends and explored new cultures.  Sasha met the love of her life William England as a freshman at Penn State University; from that day forward they were never apart.  Sasha and Will were married in May 2007 and settled down in Philadelphia, PA where they welcomed their beautiful daughter Alexandra (Lexi).  The England’s developed everlasting friendships and memories in Philadelphia.  Eventually the lure of having a large back yard in a gated community finally moved them to their dream home at the River Reserve in Piedmont, SC.  Sasha loved Will, Lexi, her two dogs (Leo and Chase) along with their cat Jasmine more than anything in the world. She lived for them 24/7 and will continue to watch over them from her special perch in Heaven.  She touched and influenced so many lives over her 41 years assuring that she will never be forgotten.  Sasha was way too young to leave us and will be missed by all who knew her.  She is survived by her husband Will, daughter Lexi, parents Alex and Jane Wasilov, sister Lara Peterson, brother Nicholas Wasilov, the entire England family, and all of her nieces.  There is a local celebration of life scheduled at the River Reserve Community Club House located at 100 Etowah Ln in Piedmont, SC 29673 on Saturday, July 30th between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. 

Religious services and burial will take place on Saturday, August 6th at St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, 316 Cassville Rd, Jackson NJ 08527 starting at 11:00 AM.  A luncheon will be held for family and friends following the funeral, details to follow.
