Sam John Varghese

Sam John Varghese was born on September 29, 1971, in Kottarakara, Kerala, India. The eldest of three children born to Gracy John and the late John Varghese.

Sam earned his GED and pursued entrepreneurship, successfully owning and operating a convenience store in South Jersey for 12 years. His deep value for education motivated him to return to school and earn his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from DeVry University. He went on to work as an engineer for GE Healthcare for 10 years.

In October 1999, Sam married the love of his life, Deepa. Together they were blessed with four beautiful children: Samantha, Stephanie, Samuel, and Stephen. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Sunday evening (Dec. 7th) from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Mar Thoma Church Philadelphia, 1085 Camphill Rd., Ft. Washington, PA 19034. Funeral Service Monday (Dec. 8th) starting at 10 am. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem, PA.
