RuthAnn Holt

RuthAnn Holt, age 83, passed away on April 13, 2026, following a battle with lung cancer, in the presence of her son, Craig Holt. 

She was born on February 4, 1943, to Ralph Yerkes Sr. and Ruth Yerkes, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Chris Holt, whom she married in 1967; her granddaughter, Danielle Holt; and her brother-in-law, Robert Dearden.

She is survived by her siblings, Ralph Yerkes Jr. (Nancy Yerkes) and Deborah Dearden; her children, Craig Holt; Kimberly Markey (Sean Markey); and Eric Holt (Christina Holt).

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brittany Holt, Michaela Holt, and Samantha Holt, children of Craig Holt; Casey Markey (Brielle Markey) and Ashley Markey (fiancé Alvin Apolinario), children of Kimberly Markey and Sean Markey; and Nicholas Holt, son of Eric Holt and Christina Holt. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

RuthAnn was a 1962 graduate of Jenkintown High School and also attended Pierce College. She was a longtime resident of Neshaminy Falls, where she enjoyed playing bocce, Mexican Train, and bingo.

She enjoyed reading, crafting, including needlepoint, quilting, and many other creative pursuits.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on April 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Whitemarsh Cemetery Chapel, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
