Ronald W. Comly

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the age of 71, Ronald Comly passed away peacefully in his sleep, after a long battle with cancer. He spent every day positive during his fight, while still loving and taking care of those around him.

Ron was the husband of 21 years to Jacqueline Comly until her passing in 2021, dedicated father to Daniel (wife Erin), Alexandria, and Christopher, grandfather to Westley, loving brother of Jay Comly (wife Karen) and the late Edward Comly, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a great friend to many that will miss him.

He grew up in Philadelphia, and has spent over 30 years as a mail carrier at the USPS. He spent his youth playing basketball at Lackman Playground, where he met many lifelong friends. He was a kind man that loved everyone around him. He was also a lover of animals, and surrounded by six loving cats.

Family members and close friends are invited to his Memorial Service Monday, October 20, 2025 at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19115. Visitation is at 10am, and service begins at 11am. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ron’s memory to the Fox Chase Cancer Center are requested by the family. The address is 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
