Rev. Mathurampoyicail V. Abraham

With gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Rev. M. V. Abraham (affectionately called "Abraham Achen"), who entered into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ on August 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Rev. M. V. Abraham was born on May 5, 1936, to the late Evangelist M. M. Varughese and Aleyamma Varughese Mathurampoykayil in Thuruthicad, Mallappally, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India. He was the sixth of seven children and is survived by his beloved elder brother M. V. Eapen (India) and younger sister Gracey Thomas (New Jersey).

On June 6, 1968, he married the love of his life, Annamma Abraham (Kinattukara Family, Mallappally). Together they built a Christ-centerd home and were blessed with two children, Elizabeth and Santosh Abraham. He is fondly remembered by his daughter Elizabeth and her husband, Ivans and their children Austin, Christina, and Serena and her husband Jake; by his son Santosh and his wife, Payal, and their children Asher and Alitza; and by his cherished great-grandchildren, Graham and Mia.
