Raymond Ihnatiuk

RAYMOND (Roman) IHNATIUK

passed away in Philadelphia on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.  Ray was about to turn 65 years old and is predeceased by his mother and father, Anna and Iwan Ihnatiuk, and his sister, Irene.  He was a loving and devoted brother to John Kalitan (Marlyn).  Devoted nephew to his Aunt Maria and Uncle Ewhen (deceased) Ostapowycz.  He was a caring Uncle to Kimberly Kalitan-Greenberg (Adam Greenberg and their daughter Brooke).  He is predeceased by his Cousin Christine Ftomyn and will be missed by his Cousins Steve and Stefan Ftomyn.  He was Cousin and Godfather to Vera Hood (Shawn and their children Shawn and Alexander).  He was also Cousin to Sonia Langdon (Brian and their children Kira and Kellan).

Ray was born in Philadelphia and attended St. Ambrose Catholic School.  He graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School and then attended Pierce College.  He then went to work for Action Travel in Philadelphia as a Travel Agent.  Later he became an IT Specialist with Planet Earth Recycling, Inc.  He was most proud of being an award-winning pool player.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's memory may be made to Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1206 Valley Road, Melrose Park, PA 19027.

Due to restrictions in place because of Covid-19, the family has chosen to have private services for Ray, with private interment.
