Rachel Varughese

Rachel (Chinnamma) Varughese, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, entered eternal rest on June 17, 2026 in Philadelphia at the age of 91. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, faith and treasured memories that will forever live on, in the hearts of those who knew her.

Rachel is lovingly remembered by her husband Mathai; her son Mathew, his wife Joyes, and their daughter Olivia; and by the memory of Mathew's late first wife, Sheeba, and their children Sophia and Brandon and Brandon's wife Kalie. She is mourned by her daughter Annie, her husband Brian, and their children Justin, Dylan, and Jayson. Additionally, she will be deeply missed by her remaining siblings, extended family, and beloved friends.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we remain deeply grateful for the gift of her life. Her memory, wisdom, humor, and love will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come.
