Nicholas Reiter

Nicholas A. Reiter of Northeast Philadelphia died Friday, August 25, 2023.  He was 92.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Nick was a son of the late Anna (Kerak) and Nicholas P. Reiter.  He was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School.

Nick joined the US Navy in 1950 and served aboard the carrier USS Leyte in the Korean War.

He was the husband of the late Barbara T. Grobelny; together they raised their three children: Theresa Bazzara, Susan, and Nicholas A. Reiter Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home at 10 AM.  Vigil Prayers will be recited at 11 AM.  Committal, with Military Honors, will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
