Mildred Helen Orrison

Mildred Helen 'Millie' Orrison of Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully at home on March 31, 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She was born in Philadelphia to George and Helen Whitehead and resided in the Olney section of Philadelphia.  She graduated from Olney High School and spent her entire career working at Mann Funeral Home as a general office manager and hairdresser.

Millie loved spending time with her family, friends and loved ones.  She was an avid Phillies fan and loved doing the various puzzles in the Philadelphia Inquirer.  She also loved her soap operas, her favorite being 'The Young and the Restless'.  Her happy place was Ocean City, NJ and she enjoyed going every year; she made it a point to visit the Crab Trap for dinner and Uncle Bill's for breakfast.

Mildred was preceded in death by her mother and father.  She is survived by her children: Edward Orrison (Dianne), Sheryl Fletcher and Denise Orrison; and her loving partner of 28 years, Mark Morton.  Millie's greatest joy were her six grandchildren: William, Emily, Matthew, Felicia, Sean and Tara) and three great-grandchildren: Isabella, Victoria and Trevor.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday at 10 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home.  Prayer Services will begin at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery.
