Michael A. Wasiuta

Michael A. Wasiuta of Mt. Ephraim, New Jersey, died Friday, June 15, 2018 at his residence.  He was 59.

Born and raised in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, Mike was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School.  He had worked in security at Girard College for over 25 years before illness forced him to retire.

Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janet Kanney Wasiuta.  He is also survived by his loving childeren: Lisamarie Wasiuta (fiance' Jeff), Michael Wasiuta and Mykola J. Wasiuta; his parents, Alexander and Olga (Starjawetz) Wasiuta; his sister Maria D'Angelis (Jeff); his nephew Jeffrey D'Angelis; and his niece Chrissy D'Angelis.  He is also survived by his pals Blue and Elvis.

Mike's family will greet friends on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 24th & Poplar Streets.  Requiem Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
