Michael Leshak, a life long resident of Philadelphia, died Sunday February 7, 2021 after a short illness. He was 64.
Born in Philadelphia, Mike was the son of the late Wasyl and Daria (Warwariuk) Leshak.
Mike was a graduate of St. Basil Elementary School and Cardinal Dougherty High School. He was employed as a mechanical engineer for many years.
He is the beloved husband of Iryna (Synyshyn) and loving father of Michelle and Olya; he is also survived by his brother Bohdan.
Mike's viewing will be held on Thursday at 9 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Requiem Services will be sung at 10 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elkins Park, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's memory may be made in the form of Liturgy offerings or to Ukrainian-American Youth Association (CYM).
Current COVID 19 restrictions will be in effect; face masks must be worn and social distancing must be maintained. There will be a sign in sheet for contact tracing purposes at the Cathedral.
