Michael Kuzma, a long time resident of Williamstown, NJ, died Thursday October 1, 2020. He was 91.
Born in Skvaryava, Ukraine, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Kuzma. He emigrated to the United States after World War II, settling in Buffalo, New York. While in Buffalo, he joined the United States Air Force; he served with the 5th Field Maintenance Squadron at Travis Air Force Base. He was discharged in 1954 with the rank of Airman 2nd class.
He attended Temple University and earned an associate's degree. He worked for many years at the United States Navy Yard in South Philadelphia as a draftsman and also worked for an architectural firm in Haddonfield, New Jersey; he took a part time job with a local supermarket and rode his bicycle to work. Michael was very active with his church, Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Williamstown.
He is survived by his children: Steve, Nusia, Lesia and Catherine.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ. Military honors will be rendered after services.
