Michael Devine Obituary

Michael E. Devine, a former South Philadelphia native who most recently had been residing in Delaware County, passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 68, after suffering complications from a bad fall on January 1st; he was surrounded by his family,

Mike was a son of the late Charles (Boudgie) Devine and Marge (nee Donnelly).  He was the proud Dad of Michael P. Devine and Loving brother of Maggie (Dave Pennock), Nancy Bowers (Bunkey), and Dennis Devine.  Mike was predeceased by his brother Charles F. Devine, Jr. (Diane) and his sister Ellen Daly (the late Kevin); he was the proud and loving Godson of Nancy Dick and crazy Uncle of 13 and great Uncle of 9.

Mike was an Honorary Member of Ironworkers Local 405 since 1974. 

Friends and Family are invited to Mike's sendoff on Saturday, February 17th, 11am to 12:15pm at Lehman's Restaurant, 400 Wanamaker Avenue, Essington, PA 19029 (Exit 9A off of I-95). Mike and our family are so appreciative of the friendship, caring and love extended to Mike these past few years by the staff and wonderful people he met at Lehman's ! They are like family !   

Special thanks and recognition to the Nursing Staff, Residents and Social Workers at Crozer Chester Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion extended to Michael and our family during this difficult time.
