Mary Zimak

Mary Zimak, a longtime resident of Northeast Philadelphia, died Thursday, May 19, 2022, just days after celebrating her 99th birthday.

Mary was one of three children of the late John and Catherine (Ruz) Stur.  

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Paraschak and her husband William and her son James Zimak and his wife Linda as well as her grandchildren: William Paraschak, Jr., Elizabeth (John) Zimak, Paige Zimak and Zyair Zimak and her great granddaughter, Ivy.  She is predeceased by her husband Stanley Zimak, her daughter Kathleen Zimak and her granddaughter Jennifer Paraschak.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday at 6 PM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home.  A viewing will also be held on Wednesday at 8:30 at the funeral home with her Funeral Mass being celebrated at 10 AM at Maternity BVM Church.  Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Kindred Hospice.
