Mary (Bilous) Luciw (72) passed away on December 28, 2020, after a valiant battle with Parkinson’s. Mary was born on March 30, 1948 in Bad Kreuznach, Germany and emigrated to the United States in 1950. After graduating from St. Basil Academy, she attended LaSalle College. After College, Mary was an elementary teacher at St. Josaphat parochial school and taught disabled children at the Woodhaven Center. Later, she worked as a real estate agent and ended her career as an exclusive real estate broker for a major builder in Bucks County, PA.
Mary is survived by her sister Daria Kusznir (Ihor), and nephew Dorian Kusznir. She was predeceased by her parents Stefan and Kataryna Bilous (Wan), and husband George Luciw.
Mary was an avid gardener and animal lover. She also enjoyed traveling and cooking. At Paul’s Run Nursing Facility, she joined the choir and looked forward to rehearsals and performing. Mary was a member of Annunciation Ukrainian Catholic Church in Melrose Park.
A viewing will be held on Monday at 10 AM at Annunciation BVM Ukrainian Catholic Church; Panahyda prayers will be sung at 10:30 AM with Requiem Liturgy immediately following. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery
