Maria Harmaty

Maria Harmaty (nee Luczejko) of Philadelphia, passed on Saturday, March 14th 2020 at the age of 94 years.

Beloved wife of the late Harry and loving mother of Myra Fryz (Michael) and Orest (Anita).  She is also the loving Baba of Tague, Dane and Elliot.

Service will take place Saturday, March 21st at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church at 11:30 AM, with her viewing beginning at 10:45 AM.  Interment will follow at St. Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Elkins Park, PA.  

The family would like to express our thoughts that no one should feel obligated to attend the visitation, Mass or burial service.  All of our personal health and safety should take precedence over this event.  For those not able to attend, we ask that a prayer be offered in Baba’s memory. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maria’s name can be made to  the Ukrainian-American Sports Center - Tryzub, 1 Lower State Road, North Wales PA 19454

Due to the public health concern over the Coronavirus, the family will not have a luncheon.
