Lynda Jane Moore passed away peacefully at the age of 64 (10/10/1958-3/19/2023) after a relatively short but intense battle with multiple cancer diagnoses.
Jane, originally from Philadelphia, moved to Texas in 1987 and met her life long partner and eventual husband Derwin "Scot" Bay (3/9/61-2/17/23). They built their life together in Texas for the last 30+ years. Scot was always by Jane's side throughout her diagnoses, treatments, and long battle until eventually he succumbed suddenly to his own illnesses on February 17th, 2023. Both Jane and Scot leave behind family and friends both near and far whom they loved dearly.
Scot's sudden and tragic passing left Jane in the care of her own family back in Philadelphia. Over the next month Jane spent her time with her brothers James and David Moore, their wives Cheryl and Anna, brother-in-law Stanley Stevenson and his wife Ellen along with Jane's nieces, nephews, great neices, and great nephews. Jane is now lovingly reunited with her parents Lynnwood and Gloria Moore, her baby sister Barbara (Moore) Stevenson, and "sashaying" once again with her beloved Scot while "Wildflowers Dance".
We love you Moore...Always
