Kuriakose Mathew

Kuriakose Mulanilkunitil Mathew was born on March 27, 1950 to the late Ninan Mathew and Achamma Mathew of Panchermalil House in Pulikeezhu, Kerela, India.  With his family by his side, Kuriakose was called to his eternal rest on April 9, 2020 at his residence.

Kuriakose was married to Gracey in 1978; together they raised two children, Mable and Kevin.  His work led them to various parts of India and eventually leading him to work as office administrator at Caterpillar Inc. in Doha, Qatar for over a decade.  After settling in America in 1992, Kuriakose soon worked at Fresenius Parkview as a Medical Equipment Technician until his retirement in 2013.

Always having a smile on his face, Kuriakose valued community, often going to great lengths to help anyone in need.  Kuriakose was an active and dedicated member of St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church community who enjoyed attending church.  Even as his health declined, his spirituality and deep belief in Christ gave him the strength to continue his worship.

A devoted husband; a loving father; a proud grandfather; a caring brother; a joyful uncle.  Kuriakose adored his family and enjoyed spending meaningful time with his loved ones.  He is survived by his wife Gracey; children Mable (Binu) and Kevin; grandchildren Elijah and Kristin; siblings Sosamma (Abraham V. Abraham), Leelamma (late M. O. George), Molly (late Eapen Varghese), Mathew Ninan (Ponnamma) and Susan (Thomas Pallam); he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

We will miss him dearly but know he is in a better place.  We love you so much.
