Kelliann Brown of South Philadelphia peacefully passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 57. Born in Media on April 29, 1969, she was the oldest daughter of Trudy A. (nee Palmer) and Bill Brown and the beloved big sister of Stephanie Lynn, all of whom predeceased her.
Kelli was a proud graduate of Saint Maria Goretti, class of 1987. There she was a master percussionist in the band and an expert at twirling her ribboned key around her finger. She possessed a consistently sound financial mind. After graduation, she entered the banking industry for many years, always having a twenty behind her last ten.
She loved making new friends and hearing their personal stories. Her genuine love of people made her a fixture at the voting polls twice a year at the former Anthony’s Saloon, where she served as committeewoman for more than a decade. Though a Lee Streeter at heart, Kelli adored her Durfor St. neighbors. She just loved sitting outside and dishing with the ladies.
Kelli loved arts and crafts. Whether it was latch hooking, coloring and of course diamond painting, she always found time for a little “mental break.” A positive influence to everyone she met, Kelli brought her positive attitude and infectious smile to her TikTok page “@kellilovestosparkle." There she would showcase her many diamond paintings, discuss her daily life and just be silly.
Christmas time was everything to Aunt Kel. Whether it was baking cookies, painting ornaments or building gingerbread houses, it was always accompanied with the kids. She had a knack for giving the most thoughtful and personal gifts. She really cared and you felt it. If generosity were a sport, Kelli would have been a first-ballet Hall of Famer. She never hesitated to offer help where she saw the need. Her selflessness continued even after death, answering the prayers of two families with the priceless gift of life.
Above all else, Kelliann cherished her family and was an unyielding supporter for everyone of them. Kelli is sorely missed by her brother Michael. She is deeply missed by her nieces Alexa, Kaylee, and Morgan. She is greatly mourned by her nephew Isaac Lynn.
Kelliann is dearly missed by her Aunt Barbara Fanelli and her goddaughter Bridget McMullen. She will be lovingly remembered by her best friends Megan Scheffler, Diane Quinn, and Helena Flecker.
She is forever loved by her Ocean City family and her caretaker Lashayna Taylor. Kelliann will be fondly remembered by her companion Edward W.
Kelli is now at peace, reunited with her sweet baby boy, her Bichon Stuie.
Kelliann invites all friends and family to wear bright, vibrant or colorful casual attire. Wednesday May 20, at 8 a.m.
St. Casimir's Lithuanian Catholic Church, 324 Wharton St. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
