Julia Maxin of Hatboro, PA died Sunday March 22, 2020. She was 98.
Born in Philadelphia, Julia was the daughter of the late Michael and Antonia (Wolczak) Petroski. She grew up in the Fairhill section of the city and was a graduate of Kensington High School. Julia was a supervisor for many years for Bell Telephone Company, working out of the 9th & Race Streets offices; she was later employed as an executive with Beneficial Bank.
She married John Maxin on Halloween in 1958; they lived for many years in Olney before moving to Cheltenham. John died in 1994.
Julia is survived by many nieces and nephews; besides her husband John, Julia is predeceased by her siblings: Olga Grobelny, John Petroski, Paul Petroski, William Petroski, Victor Petroski, Leo Petroski, Peter Petroski, Sophie Dugan and Margaret Santee.
Services for Julia will be private for her family only.
