Joseph Krasicki, a long time resident of Feasterville, PA, died at his home on Monday, May 25, 2026. He was 75.
Born in Germany in 1950, Joe was the son of the late Michael and Maria (Gorna) Krasicki. He and his family emigrated to the United States in November of 1951, arriving in New York City. They settled in Corning, NY before moving to the Tacony section of Philadelphia, The family attended St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church and Joe graduated from Frankford High School. He retired from BJ's in 2013 after working as a shipping manager.
Joe met his future wife, Irene Wasylkiw, at a wedding at St. Josaphat's Church Hall. They were married on May 28, 1977 at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception by Rev. Martin Canavan.
Joe loved to travel to the Finger Lakes region of New York as well as to Lancaster County where he and Irene enjoyed eating at Shady Maple and hitting the thrift shops. He also enjoyed spending time at the casinos as well as watching his favorite team, the Phillies, play.
He is survived by his wife Irene; his sister Jenny Polan; his nephews and nieces: Henry Polan, Thomas Polan, Michael (Caryann) Wasylkiw and Kristina (Will) Wasylkiw; and his great nieces and nephews: Alyssa, Emma and Devin. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Mary Wasylkiw and Kathy Wasylkiw (Jim).
Joe's family will greet friends on Friday at 10 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home at 10 AM. Parastas prayers will be sung at 11 AM. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
