John 'Jack' Waker, a longtime resident of Feasterville, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was 68.
Born in Philadelphia, Jack was the son of the late Margaret (nee Porter) and John C. Waker. His father died in 1956 when Jack was two years old; he was a student at Girard College and after graduating high school, he attended Drexel University in the evenings, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
He worked as an accountant for the Deb Shoppes, Hunt, Clean Earth and Crown Cork & Seal; he retired from Forest Incentives. He and Maria Pidhirskyj married in 1998.
Jack is survived by his wife, Maria; his mother-in-law, Ksenia Pidhirskyj; his brother-in-law, Jerry Pidhirskyj and his wife Zena; his nephews, Michael and Stephen (Kelley) Pidhirskyj; and his great-nephews and niece, Luke, Christian and Charlotte.
His viewing will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Avenue. Funeral Service will be at noon. Interment will be private.
