John 'Jack' Fritz

John J. 'Jack' Fritz, a longtime resident of the Somerton section of Philadelphia, died  Thursday, January 29, 2026.  He was 76.

Born in Philadelphia, Jack was a son of the late John J. and Florence K. (Gleason) Fritz.  He was a graduate of Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tec High School and was employed as a carpenter and master cabinet maker.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Ann (Jacomino) Fritz; his children: Steven Fritz, Danielle Fritz, Alfred Tomaselli, Christina Tomaselli, John Tomaselli and Daniel Tomaselli; his grandchildren: Sierra, Olivia, Jocelyn, Kyle, Nicholas, Paisley, Alfred and Genevieve; and his siblings: Joan Wallace, Florence (Flossie) Kronberger and Karl Fritz.  Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings Edward Fritz and Margaret Fritz.

Jack's family will greet friends on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 9:30 AM at St. Andrew's in the Field Episcopal Church, 500 Somerton Ave., Phila, PA.  Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.  Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to St. Andrew's in the Field Episcopal Church.
