Joan McCourt

  Joan McCourt (née Griffies), age 80,  resident of Philadelphia passed away peacefully on September 07, 2022.
  Joan was predeceased by her late husband Edward J McCourt Sr, her son Jack (Laurie) and her parents John and Rita Griffies.
  Joan was married to her high school sweetheart for 59 years and was survived by 6 children: Edward Jr. (Mary), Joseph (Marian), Terrence (Tracy), Joan Gillespie (Joe), Dennis, and Megan Laskowski (Greg); 27 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and dear sister to John Griffies and Peg McGarry.
  She attended Little Flower High School and enjoyed traveling and spending her summers at the Jersey Shore.  She will be missed by all that loved her and we know she is at peace, being reunited with her husband and son. 
  The family will be having a private service to celebrate her life on 9/17/22 all family is welcomed to join us at 10 am and the service at 11 am.
