Joan Ciolko

Joan Ciolko of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 87.  She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 23, 1933.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Stanley (Stosh) Ciolko, Jr.  Joan was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Maguire.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and always looked forward to visits with her grandchildren.  Some of her favorite times were spent with her cousins at their monthly "Cousin's Club" gatherings.

She will be greatly missed by her children Edward, Thomas, Joni (Edie), Stephen (Maureen) and Michael (Michele); her grandchildren Timothy, Ryan, Andrew, Brian, Alyssa, Emily and Colin; her sisters Kathleen Munro and Loretta (George) Davidson; and her brother-in-law William (Joan) Ciolko.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she loved.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Ann Hanratty and nephew Timothy J. Shields.

Services will be held privately for the family due to the Covid-19 restrictions. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Joan's memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
