At the rising sun at its sunset; remember him.

At the blowing of the wind and the chill of winter; remember him.

At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring; remember him.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer; remember him.

At the rustling of leaves and in the beauty of autumn; remember him.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends; remember him.

When we are weary and in need of strength; remember him.

When we are lost and sick at heart; remember him.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make; remember him.

When we have joy we crave to share; remember him.

When we have achievements that are based on his example; remember him.

For as long as we live; he too will live, for he is a part of us as we remember him.

You can shed tears because he is gone, or you can smile because he lived.

You can close your eyes and pray he will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that he left for you.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind and feel empty, or you can do what he would want. Smile, Open your heart, Love…and go on.

Soar with the angels and watch over us from above, may you rest in peace.
