Gracykutty John

Gracykutty John, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, nurse, and woman of unwavering faith, and wife to Pastor John Philipose, peacefully completed her earthly journey and was welcomed into the sweet arms of Jesus on September 28, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Gracy was born on October 31, 1949, in Kerala, India, to the late Pastor P.V. George and Thankamma George. As the eldest daughter in a pastor's family, Gracy learned from an early age the sacrifices, responsibilities, and hardships that came with growing up in a missionary family. Her childhood was filled with frequent moves as her family served in different places throughout Kerala, including Manakala, Panivazhi, Kottarakara, and many other communities.

Gracy is survived by her beloved husband, Pastor John Philipose; her three children: Reena Thomas, and her husband, Pramod Thomas, Reni Joseph, and her husband, Sam Joseph, and Ron Philipose, and his wife Stephanie Philipose.

She is also survived by her precious grandchildren, whom she lovingly considered her crowns: Hannah Thomas, Hailey Thomas, Noah Thomas, Hope Joseph, Christina Joseph, Nathan Joseph, Micah Philipose, Olivia Philipose, and Ezra Philipose. She is also survived by her five sisters and brother, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched.

Her earthly journey has ended, but her testimony lives on in her family and in all those who knew and loved her. Until we meet again in the presence of our Lord, you will forever remain in our hearts.
