Florence H. Kretovich

Florence H. Kretovich, a former resident of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg, PA.  She was 100.

Born in Philadelphia, Florence was the daughter of the late Frederick and Florence (nee Smarkola) Heller.  She was a graduate of Kensington High School and worked as an office manager for Adolph Frei and Sons in Northern Liberties before retiring.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Kretovich and Constance Calabrese (Peter); her granddaughter, Alexandra; nephew Rick Heller (Lisa), grandnephew Joe Heller (Jennifer), grandniece Valerie Heller, great-grandnephew Scott Heller and great-grandniece Juliette Heller and many cousins; she is predeceased by her husband, John Kretovich (John died in 2014) and brother Frederick Heller.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday at 9 AM at St. Andrew's Russian Orthodox Cathedral.  Requiem Services will be sung at 10 AM.  Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
