Edward Stewart, a life long resident of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was 69.
Born in Philadelphia, Ed was the son of the late Edward Jack and Wanona M. (nee Campbell) Stewart. A resident of the Bustleton section of the city, Ed was a graduate of Washington High School and worked for the City of Philadelphia in the Sanitation Department before retiring in 2018.
He is survived by his sister, Cassandra Appiott, his nephew, Jonathan Appiott and his former brother-in-law, Dr. John Appiott. He is predeceased by his brother Russell Stewart.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Services beginning at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
