Edward C. Meyer

Edward C. Meyer passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 with family by his side. He was 83.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Edward M. and Dorothy (Karcher) Meyer, he served our country in the U.S. Army. Ed then entered the family business which his father had started in 1958, and continued working at Academy Auto Supply in Philadelphia for over 68 years. Ed enjoyed boating, fishing and cars of any make or model. He also enjoyed his farm for more than 35 years.

Ed is survived by his wife of almost 62 years, Lillian (Livezey) Meyer; son Edward, Jr. (Jill); grandchildren, Edward, III (Judie), Philip, and Corinne (Michael), great granddaughter, Nicoletta; and sister-in-law, Dolly Livezey. He was preceded in death by his son, David.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 12 noon until Funeral Service at 1 pm, at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Ave., Phila., PA 19115. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
