Dorothy Hanman Obituary

Dorothy A. Hanman, a longtime resident of Northeast Philadelphia, died Friday, August 14, 2020. She was 99.

Born in Philadelphia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Reger) Green.

She worked for many years as a carpet burler for the Holmes Carpet Company before retiring. Married to Frank C. Hanman on June 28, 1941, the couple raised their two sons on Verree Road. Frank passed away on December 3, 2005.

Dorothy is survived by her son Gary S. Hanman and her grandchildren: Arthur, Nichole, Shawn, Justin, Derek and Kaleigh. She is predeceased by her husband Frank and her son Arthur.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be privately held. The Family thanks you for your understanding.,
