Dorothea Wacker Nieder

(Oct. 31, 1927 - Dec. 23, 2021)

Dorothea (Dot) Nieder, passed in her sleep from Covid. She is predeceased by her parents, Pauline and Robert Wacker, her beloved husband, Robert, her siblings, Robert Wacker, Elsie Ulmer and Ruth DiMeo and nephews and nieces George Ulmer (Betsy), Bobby Wacker, Ed Ulmer (Carole), Carol Klauser (Frank) and Gloria Ebling (Gary). Surviving relatives include John Wacker (Andrea), Jeanette Tresky (Howard) and Grace Nathanson (Alan). She leaves behind many great nieces and nephews.

Dorothea worked for the IRS for thirty years. After retirement from the IRS she worked for ten years at Cheltenham Bank in Rockledge. Dorothea was a faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church in Oxford Circle. She enjoyed volunteering at Jeanes Hospital for five years and met many new friends there. She and her husband, Bob, loved taking Starr Tours to cities on the East Coast and to Canada, but her true love was vacationing in Cape May, NJ.
