Danny Kaye Belote, a longtime resident of Cheltenham, PA died Wednesday, February 19, 2025. He was 68.
Born on June 19, 1956 in Quinby, Virginia, he was the son of Billy Lee Belote and Joyce Saunders. He entered the Marine Corps at the age of 17 and he obtained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3. Dan remained with the military after retirement as a civilian, working for the government in a military capacity, touching the lives of many as a mentor, colleague and friend.
Dan is survived by his wife Donna Belote (Karbiwnyk), his sister Judy and many loving family members, neighbors and life long friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Dan's committal prayers, preceded by Military Honors, on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's memory can be made to St. Vladimir Orthodox Church (memo: Hope Fund). Funds will be used to purchase 'Stop the Bleed' kits to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers; or to the Fox Chase Cancer Center.
