Dana Reitarowski

With a very heavy heart we announce Dana’s passing at 7:00 am Monday, August 8th 2022 from complications of sepsis. 
 Dana was born in Philadelphia on April 1st, 1966. Her mother, Vera Donetz Todoriv survives at home and her father, Bohdan Todoriv passed in 2014.  Her sister, Nina Woskob survives in State College, PA with her husband George; Dana was a doting aunt to her niece and nephews Larissa Castner and husband Tom and son Alexander, George Woskob and Alexander Woskob.
 Dana was brilliant and beautiful,  graduating salutatorian from Gwynedd Mercy Academy and then attending Temple University with a combined major of business and Spanish.  A top student, she received her 1st job in import/export from a direct referral by a professor at Temple.  In 1991 Dana married Alex Reitarowski who preceded her in death in 2014.  Dana was devoted to her family. The last 8 years of her life she spent caring and giving loving companionship to her widowed mother.  She kept in constant contact with her niece, nephews, cousins and extended cousins and family. Her vivacious and magnetic personality brought the family together and attracted friends from all walks of life.

Dana will be so greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

 Please join us as we honor Dana’s life.  Her family invites friends to join them on Thursday at 7:30 PM for the celebration of her Requiem Liturgy at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church;  Dana's funeral will be held on Friday with committal prayers at 12 noon at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, South Bound Brook, NJ.  The family extends an invitation to everyone joining them on Friday to return to Ovations Restaurant, 295 Canal Road, South Boundbrook, New Jersey 08880, for a memorial luncheon.
