Brian Comitalo Obituary

Brian "Boy" Comitalo

Brian Comitalo, affectionately known to those who loved him as "Boy" (or a familiar "Yo, Boy!"), passed away on May 5, 2026, in his childhood home in the Summerdale neighborhood of Philadelphia. He was 43 years old.

Born on December 10, 1982, Brian was a lifelong Philadelphian. He was a dedicated employee at PepsiCo, where he brought his hard work and reliable presence for more than 15 years.

Brian’s greatest joys were found in the simple things and the deep roots of his youth. A passionate Philadelphia Flyers fan, he developed his love for the ice early, growing up playing hockey alongside his father and brother. Whether he was listening to his favorite music, getting lost in a video game, or enjoying the serenity of hunting, Brian contentedly marched to the beat of his own drum.

He is survived by his devoted father, Robert Comitalo, Sr.; his brother, Robert Comitalo, Jr., and wife Tiffany; and his sister, Kelianne Devlin and husband Bryan. Brian was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Linda Dill, with whom he is now reunited.

"Boy" will be deeply missed but fiercely remembered by his family for his quiet strength, his familiar laugh, and the memories shared on and off the ice. In honor of Brian’s life, cheer loudly for the Flyers and cherish the time spent with family.

His family will greet friends on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home.  Burial services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Brian’s memory to Self Help Movement, Inc.
