Arthur Konrad, Jr. Obituary

Arthur G. Konrad Jr. January 16, 1956 - April 8, 2022

Arthur G. Konrad Jr. passed away peacefully on April 8, 2022, surrounded by his daughters and wife. He was 66 years old.  Beloved husband of Mary (nee Boychak) of 42 years.  Devoted father of Natalie, Alexandria Miller (Dennis), Anastasia Lange (Robert), and Olivia Mathis (Larry).  Adored Pop-Pop of Larry and Johnny Mathis, and Abigail Lange.  Dear brother of Veronica Kull (Tony) and the late Irma Baraniecki (Gregory) and Brother-in-law of Dale, Ronald, and the late Frances Boychak. Art is also survived by his niece and nephews.

Art was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters for 43 years.

Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Friday, April 29, 2022.  Art's family will greet friends from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Art’s memory can be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Art was a passionate and devoted husband and father. He was always available to those in need. Through the years, he helped and guided many people but never advertised his doings.

You could say Art was an old soul in the way he strolled about and how he enjoyed long car rides listening to smooth jazz.  He felt comfortable sharing and learning from older neighbors and strangers that he encountered.  He wanted to pass on the knowledge that he acquired, especially to young people-to his daughters, their friends, family and union brothers.  He always looked for the best attributes in people and encouraged them to develop them.  He was active in the church and taught CCD to pass along knowledge and teachings to the youth.  Art relished in completing the daily crossword puzzles. He enjoyed playing pinochle, chess and teaching others the game.  He enjoyed family gatherings and being enamored by his three grandchildren.  Art will be remembered as a man of love, fusion, honor and loyalty
