Anne Wetzel

Anne Wetzel: August 19, 1953 - July 17, 2021

Anne “Annie” (Denkowycz) Wetzel of North Wales, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 67 years old after a long struggle with kidney failure.  Annie, daughter of Andrij and Vera Denkowycz was preceded by them and her brother Stan.  She is survived by her daughter Tatiana and son Andrew (Lis), grandson Cody and granddaughter Olivia; she is also survived by her loving brother Nicholas (Maria) and sister-in-law Fran.  Annie shall also be dearly missed by her nephews Nicholas, Jr (Kim) and Michael along with her nieces Marianne (Matthew), Danielle (Greg), and Jody (Roy).

Annie was the first Denkowycz born on US soil in Philadelphia, PA.  She attended Immaculate Conception Grade School and graduated from Olney High School in 1971.  She married and was very joyful at the birth of her two children.  Annie was an active member of St. Anne’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Warrington, PA, singing in the choir, serving at bingo and teaching CCD.  Services will be held to celebrate Annie’s life at St. Anne’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Warrington on Tuesday July 27th with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM followed by Requiem Liturgy at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Anne’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Anne's memory.

Committal will be private.
