Anna Shwak

Anna Stanislava Shwak (Bednarsky) passed away peacefully at home on November 14 at the age of 85.  Anna was a resident of Red Hill, PA for over 50 years after attending art school and getting married in Philadelphia. 

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend.  Some of her many hobbies were flea market treasure hunting, crossword puzzles, cross stitching and drawing.

Born in Sasiw, Ukraine to Leon and Maria Bednarsky (Puhacz).  She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene; her daughter Marianna Burns; her son Andrew (Susan) and her four grandchildren; Alyssa Bitting, Eric Burns, Brendan & Brian Shwak.  She was predeceased by her daughter Christine March and her brother Roman Bednarsky.

Her viewing will be held on Saturday November 23  10 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, Jenkintown, PA; Requiem Services will be sung at 11 AM.  Burial will follow at Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, PA.
