Anna Korotkova, a resident of the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, died on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. She was 86.
Born in Peremyshl, Poland, Anna was the daughter of the late Anton and Paraskevia (Pisko) Lupak. Anna earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and was a musician and music director at the university level.
Anna was the most amazing woman, so full of energy and charisma. She loved to do everything: she loved running on Kelly Drive in Fairmount park; singing; embroidery; and her cooking would bring people together. Her energy was unmatched; she always lit up a room and she will always be remembered for that.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Rimma Koziar and her husband Oleg Koziar; her son Anton Korotkov; her grandchildren: Anna Koziar and Juliana Totoro; and her great-grandchildren: Nikolas and Vladislav Konovalov-Koziar.
Her viewing will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Requiem Services will be sung at 10 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elkins Park, PA.
