Anna Drabyk returned to her eternal home on July, 11, 2025, just two weeks shy of her 96th birthday.
Anna came into this world on August 1, 1929, in Allentown, PA, being the younger child of Michael and Fanny Haluschak. As the matriarch of the Drabyk family, Anna spent the majority of her life with her beloved husband, Metro Drabyk, living in the Northeast Philadelphia suburbs and working at their dry cleaning plant in South Philadelphia. Although she lived in Philadelphia and Doylestown for many years, her heart was always on The Farm on Route 1 in Macungie.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Metro, her sister, Mary Chladek and her eldest child, Nancy Drabyk. Anna is survived by her three children, Kathleen Scipione, Michael Drabyk and Christine Langell; her six grandchildren, Andrew Martin, Vincent Scipione (Lyndi), Christian and Kira Langell, and Alana and Mia Drabyk, and three great-grandsons, Colin, Gavin and Ethan Martin.
All are welcome to pay their respects on Thursday at 10 AM at Annunciation BVM Ukrainian Catholic Church in Melrose Park, with a Panachyda to follow at 11 AM. Anna will be laid to rest with her late daughter, Nancy, and alongside her husband Metro at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
