Anna Baczara

Anna Baczara, formerly a longtime resident of Philadelphia, PA, quietly passed on Friday February 21st, 2020 while her son Bohdan was at her side.  She was 92 years old.  Anna was preceded in her death by her husband of 29 years, Mykola Baczara.  They both were active members of the Ukrainian community in Philadelphia. She is survived by her sons: Roman with his wife Jennifer and son Nicholas and Bohdan with his wife Olga and their children Tatiana, Daniel and Ivanka. 

Anna's funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, February 28th at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with her Viewing beginning at 9:00 AM. Panakhyda prayers will be sung at 9:45 AM. Burial to follow the Service at St. Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elkins Park, PA.
