Ann J. Quigley, age 75, passed peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1947. She moved to America in 1955. In 1965 she had joined the Little Sisters of the Poor for a time. There she cared for the elderly.
In the beginning of 1970, she was housekeeper at Maternity B.V.M rectory. It was there in 1971 that she met Walter [1989]. Their 1st date was a Valentine's Day dance at Maternity. They quickly found their soulmates and they married on Sept. 25, 1971. She was survived by
their three children Colleen Ann [Jason], William Thomas [Catherine] and John Francis [Kelly]. Their two sons gave them three beautiful grandchildren Bryana Marie age 23, Walter James age 17, and Lily Margaret age 15.
She joins her mother Mary Anne, father John Francis and her siblings Robert [Janet], Pauline [James] Sean leaving her surviving sister Maureen [Victor]. She has 6 nephews and one niece along with many cousins that also reside in Ireland.
Ann was such a kindhearted soul that would give you the shirt off her back. She was a very religious person who loved being involved with the church. She had a laugh that would make anyone smile. Ann always was willing to help others no matter the situation. She loved her trips that she would take to Lancaster and the casino trips she would take with Walter. She was a very get-up-and-go person. She loved music, birds, playing UNO and going miniature golfing. Her newest pleasure was going shopping with her granddaughter Bryana.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, May 24, 2022 from 9:00 am to 9:45 am in Maternity B.V.M. Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila., PA 19115. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Committal Service and Interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
