Andrej "Andy" J. Holowchak, 56, passed away suddenly on December 10, 2024. Born on November 6, 1968, he was the cherished son of the late Julian and Olena (nee Pak) Holowchak.
Andy spent his early years in Philadelphia before moving to Bucks County. He built a career in the automotive industry, working for Blalock's Auto for many years before joining Kia of Warminster. A devoted family man and friend, Andy's life was centered around his loved ones and his passions.
Andy was the beloved husband of 29 years to Tracy Holowchak (nee Gleim) and the proud father of their daughter, Nina Holowchak. His family was his greatest joy and he treasured every moment spent with them. Andy delighted in summer vacations to Knoebel's with close friends, attending Broadway shows with Nina and celebrating her birthdays with trips to New York City. He also had a passion for building and flying model planes and drones.
An avid sports fan, Andy loved cheering for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team. Known as the life of the party, he brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. He was a devoted uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who adored him.
He is survived by his wife Tracy; his daughter Nina; his sisters Roksolana Holowchak-Krier (George) and Alexandra Holowchak (Robert); his brother-in-law David McIntyre; and his parents-in-law Donald and Frances Gleim as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his sister Christina Holowchak McIntyre.
Andy's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday at 9 AM at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bristol, PA. Requiem Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elkins Park, PA.
