Aleyamma Mathew

Mrs. Aleyamma Mathew (Kunjamma) was born on December 14, 1938 to late Mr. P.P Varkey and Mrs. Aleyamma Varkey in Othalathummoottil House Chengalam South, Kottayam.  She is survived by her siblings, Late Mrs. Baby Varghese, Mr. Varkey Pailo, Mr. P. V. Cherian, Mrs. Accalkutty Jacob, Mrs. Omana Thomas, and Mr. John P. Varkey.  She completed her education at Govt. High School, Kumarakom.  She worked as a nurse in India for several years. 

Kunjamma was solemnized in Holy Matrimony to Mathew P. Chacko (Kunju), Poovathusseril, Manarcadu, Kottayam, retd. Civil Police Officer. They were blessed with two children Jacob Mathew (Rejimon) and Rani Mathew (Ranimol). Rejimon is married to Loveja Jose (Packel, Muvattupuzha) residing in USA and Ranimol is married to Prakash Mathew (Kandathil, Puthenpura) residing in Dubai. Kunjamma was blessed with five grandchildren, Arun, Arusha, Aleena, Aivin, and Kevin.

She came to United States in April 1996 and was staying with her son and family.  She was a devoted wife, caring mother, loving daughter as well as an encouraging sister who lived a simple and faithful life. Kunjamma entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to enjoy the promised eternal peace on December 22, 2020.  

Her viewing will be held on Monday at 9 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home with Religious Services to follow.  Committal Prayers will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hatboro, PA.
